Securus Technologies Receives ie® Awards for Sales & Customer Service in Las Vegas Ceremony

Securus Technologies is an industry leader when it comes to criminal justice system technological solutions. The company is headquartered in Dallas, Texas. Securus Technologies offers products and services in variety of areas that include solutions designed for public safety, investigation, corrections and offender monitoring.


In February, 2017, Securus Technologies received a major award. Securus Technologies received the Stevie® Awards for Sales & Customer Service at an awards ceremony held in Las Vegas, Nevada, at Caesar’s Palace. This was the 11th annual awards ceremony. Over 650 executives attended the event. This included the CEO of Securus Technologies, who accepted the prestigious award on behalf of the company.


In addition to the nomination of Securus Technologies for the award, there were about 2,300 other nominations. 77 judges reviewed and rated the different nominations.


The judges considered a variety of factors that included an analysis of whether and how a company like Securus Technologies responded to problems in the area of customer service. The judges also considered the connection a company maintained with the community. In the case of Securus Technologies, the company has a primary objective of enhancing community safety.


In addition to the awards program that recognized Securus Technologies, the organization gives other awards throughout the course of any given year. This includes awards to businesses operating in over 60 countries. A grand total of over 10,000 nominations are made annually for all awards given by the organization.
